But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God,
the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:22-23 (ESV)

IMPORTANT NEWS
For online readers of the
Sound of Grace Journal

In the Fall/Winter of 2011 the publisher of the Sound of Grace theological journal (Sovereign Grace New Covenant Ministries) made the decision to discontinue the distribution of the free digital issues. Their decision brought to a conclusion 18 years of our partnership to freely host the Sound of Grace journal on this domain.

It should be understood that that our partnership in the Gospel on this domain was rooted and established in a shared vision to publish free Gospel oriented content. We continue to freely host sermons on this domain by Dr. John Piper on the same terms. (see also: Desiring God's vision related articles here, here and here)

A Word of Appreciation

We are thankful for the 18 years we were partners in the gospel with John G. Reisinger.

Pray for his continuing labors in God's word. We are indebted to John for the wealth of truth he has kindly and lovingly shared with his readers.

Our Future Direction

With the loss of SOG (less than 4% of the estimated content hosted since 2005) we reviewed how best to move forward and after consulting with ministry friends we made the decision to increase our resources on this domain to highlight Piper's Notes (94% of our estimated hosted content) and other ministries who love the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Since 1995 we have hosted John Piper's sermon library. Historically Piper's Notes has proven to be a tremendously popular theological and pastoral resource. Its pages have drawn millions of readers from all over the world and we hope and pray they will continue to serve as a valuable resource for Christians world-wide in the years ahead. In addition to the sermon library we intend to increase the exposure of several other excellent resources.

Much love,
  Moe & Karan Bergeron
